The 2012 Iberoamerican Conference on Electronics Engineering and Computer Science (CIIECC 2012)
will be held on May 16-18, 2012, in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. The conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum of discussion aimed at fostering the development of novel electronic and computer systems that meet the needs of the ever evolving global society.
The conference aims to bring together researchers, industry professionals, and academics working in any discipline of the electronics engineering and the computer sciences to exchange ideas and discuss solutions that contribute to the technological development of the countries. For this edition, the conference's goal is to collect the state of the art, indentify open and emerging problems, and propose future research directions that pave the way for tomorrows's COLLABORATIVE SYSTEMS.
About CIIEC
Improving competitiveness has become such a priority for all countries that every day they depend more and more on the use of the Information Technologies (IT). Nowadays, nations cannot and should not fall behind in the adoption and in the usage of IT. Otherwise, they will create important gaps in their development in comparison with other nations.
The Electronic Engineering and Computer Science Latin American Conference (CIIECC in Spanish) started in 2010 as an alternative for Latin America to help nations face the challenges of integrating a long term vision, which will shape the policy of digital and inter-operational inclusion of the public information network. However, in 2011 it took an international course.
One of the objectives of the CIIECC is to contribute to the scientific and technological development on Latin American nations by providing spaces for the exchange of ideas; synthesize the state of the art; approach issues; discuss solutions, define lines of research in the area of Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technologies in General.
For the 2012 edition, the CIIECC will take place in Jalisco and the University of Guadalajara
